    Hello,
I am a 40ish foodstyling student . I had to pick someone to do my project on and I chose you . I am currently in the Art Institute , Washington..in Arlington, VA. I wanted to pick a local person to show that we do have talent in our area doing this as a career choice.

I would love to converse. Maybe you may even come to class as my show and tell (Smile) I did the food but, the photography class students did the shoot. I was please with the shots.

I am following you on twitter. I have a facebook ellens decor… and an additional personal page with thousands of Chefs Bobby Flay, Michael Chiarello, Ina Garten, Cat Cora, Jacques Torres, Aurthur Smith, James Beard Foundation, Sean Brock, many many more great food crazies like me.

I look forward to talking to you some more. I would love to send my paper to you once finish to approve it.

    Thanks,
    Ellen Bryant

  2. NOT a good-lookin’ sandwich; in fact a trio of plus-sized abominations, made only slightly palatable via the tender ministrations by the boys at Slate’s GastroLab:

    Ugh:
    Hardee’s Foot-long Cheeseburger – grotesque

Tesco Lasagna Sandwich – much improved by the guys

Friendly’s Grilled Cheese Burger Melt – help!

  3. Ugh is a gross understatement. Did you hear that Subway tried to trademark the word Footlong. Footlong with food makes me think of hoof and mouth disease. Hoof and mouth, foot and mouth, what’s the diff?
