Woody’s barbeque. I had the “messy Carolina” and Jon had the house specialty which is served with a couple of onion rings on it. The kid’s meal is served in a sand pail and comes with a lollipop. Loved it.

It doesn’t get more casual than this: Woody’s operates out of a trailer in a gravel parking lot. Low on formality but high on taste, Woody’s keeps it simple in the kitchen, too, by offering a limited menu of lip-licking barbeque options. The Signature Sandwich will be an instant favorite of teens and adults, while younger kids will covet the sides and sweets: baked beans, hand-cut fries, gingered applesauce, and cornbread. Wash it down with the Emerson Tailor, a mix of their freshly-brewed sweet tea and lemonade.

Been a regular (summer time-wise) sice they opened two years ago. The addition of a second chicken joint is excellent. The best wings.
